Herve Diogo Amengual represents international clients in transactional and litigation aspects of restructurings and bankruptcy matters. He advises various parties in a restructuring/bankruptcy context (debtors, lenders and other creditors, prospective purchasers, managers, and shareholders) before, during, and after bankruptcy proceedings.

He is also a member of the Ethics Committee.

  • The unitranche lender in the restructuring of the LBO financing relating to the acquisition of Football Club Girondins de Bordeaux
  • The unitranche lender in its acquisition of the BVA Group, the third largest French market research and consulting firm    
  • One of Europe's leading paper manufacturers in its bid to acquire the specialty papers business of Greenfield, an ArjoWiggins Group company in bankruptcy proceedings
  • A leading US company in the pharmaceutical industry in the context of the acquisition, in bankrupcy proceedings, of the assets of Biom'Up, a company specializing in the manufacture of haemostatic products     
  • Debt and private equity funds as shareholders in the debt restructuring of Delsey Group
  • Leading international bank as agent in the financial restructuring of CGG 
  • The major senior lender in the restructuring and acquisition of control of Mediannuaire Holding the parent company of Solocal Group (formerly PagesJaunes Groupe) the French listed directories company     
  • One of the world's leading print and finishing systems companies to acquire certain businesses from the Goss Group
  • Shareholders in Hediard's bankruptcy proceedings (delicatessen)     
  • A bondholder in the expropriation by the Dutch state of securities issued by SNS Reaal NV and SNS Bank NV     
  • One of the market leaders in prepaid business services, with respect to acquiring the business of one of its distributors out of bankruptcy (service vouchers)     
  • The major supplier in the restructuring of AreaFranceram (tile manufacturing)     
  • The lenders in the restructuring of the capital structure of Tiama, a world leader in hollow glass inspection solutions, leading to the transfer of control of the group through a debt-to-equity swap
  • The major creditor in the judicial liquidation proceedings of Alkor Venilia (self-adhesive PVC papers and frames)     
  • The major bondholders in the financial restructuring of Orco Property Group (real estate investment and development)  
  • Various purchasers of certain assets of Nortel Networks SA and Nortel Networks France (engineering, manufacturing, installing, and distributing telecommunications systems)
