Hugo Matricon is an associate in the Paris office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the Tax Department. He advises on French and international transactional tax matters, particularly in complex mergers and acquisitions, as well as capital markets and financing transactions.

Mr. Matricon is a member of the Institut des Avocats Conseils Fiscaux (IACF).


Mr. Matricon’s experience includes advising:

  • Clarins Group in the sale of its fragrance division, including Mugler and Azzaro
  • Carrefour Group in the sale of Rue Du Commerce
  • Conforama Group in relation to the sale of Conforama France to Mobilux, majority shareholder of BUT Group
Capital Markets
  • Française des Jeux in its IPO
  • Conforama Group in a new financing amounting to €316 million
